Objective:

One of the things that were created, formed, or organized before the first day of creation is “the elohim.”  We probably all have a reasonable handle on what the heavens are, and what the earth is.  So, in this discussion we will explore what “the elohim” are.

These passages are for exploring the meaning of the second of the five beads between “The Tree” and “The Triangle”.  It is the first of the three “small” beads.

3. Yea, in knowledge and in wisdom created I the elohim, and Heavens, and the Earth.

Abraham (PofGP) 3:22-24

22. Now the lord had shewn unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones,

23. And God saw these souls that they were good, and He stood in the midst of them, and he said, these, I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and He said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them, thou wast chosen before thou wast born.

24. And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an Earth whereon these may dwell;

• Do you feel it is safe to say that the creation of “the elohim” (or “the gods”) is what is described here as the organizing of the noble and great spirits into some sort of “Divine Council”?  (it is perfectly Ok if you decide it is not talking about the same thing, but .. this meditation was built assuming this is talking about the same thing, so if you don’t feel these are the same you will likely want to adapt and reword some things.)

• What does it mean that the Creator organized or created the Divine Council of Elohim?  What were they before “the elohim” were created?
