Objective:

In this week’s discussion we will explore the mystery of Chokhmah (Wisdom). By considering a passage from Zenock. (this passage follows immediately after the one from last week)

The Mystery of the Perfect Wisdom: To see the unity of all things that YHVH has created. Hear O Israel, YHVH is our Elohim; YHVH is Unity.

Passages to Ponder

Zenock 12:19-23

19. ¶ And the Torah does teach us: Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place.

20. Wherefore, even as all of Israel hath been given of the mercy of YHVH Elohim, so too shall we be one Israel;

21. For the Torah doth also say: Hear, O Israel: YHVH is our Elohim; YHVH is unity.

22. Wherefore, if YHVH be Unity, then Israel too must be unity, for Israel is the creation of YHVH, our Elohim that Rauch HaKodesh and the Shekinah be upon us.

23. And this wisdom is the perfect wisdom, that we do see the unity of all the things that YHVH Elohim hath created.

20. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Questions of Knowledge (What it says at the surface)

• What does it say are the fruits of Israel being in Unity?

Questions of Wisdom (What it means below the surface)

• Verses 19 and 20 are suggesting that the Mercy that YHVH extends to his people as we decide to walk in Teshuvah can be seen as the waters of creation that the Creator gathered together into one body in order to bring forth fertile land.
• What is the difference between being united “that Rauch HaKodesh and the Shekinah be upon us” and the admonition to “receive the Holy Ghost”?

Questions of Understanding (Likening it to Ourselves)

• Have you ever felt the Presence or the Spirit of God in a situation where you were gathered together with other Believers in Unity?  What was the situation? Did that Presence have longer lasting effects than simply “feeling nice in the moment”?
• In what ways have you United with people even when circumstances were such that you couldn’t be in the same physical place.  Can Unity be achieved by people who are separated geographically?

Questions of Mystery (What deeper meaning can be harvested)

• In what way can we become unified with ALL of creation and not just those who are similar to us in ways we consider important? How can we be at one with mountains or fishes on the other side of the world? (don’t guess ask)
